TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
What started as a need materialized into a business.
CRYSTAL WATERS FILTRATION & PURIFICATION SYSTEM- the business we've started a year ago. Through all the problems and headaches that we encountered for that one whole year, I can proudly say that God has always been there for us. He has constantly blessed us and provided every single centavo that was needed for the business to prosper.
True enough, starting a business is no easy task.I have devoted my whole self just to establish a good reputation. With the help of my hubby's connections and friends, we were able to close deals with some big establishments here in Tagum City. The first month was not as easy as I expected. We started with only 12 containers per day delivery for around a week. We ended our first month with around 30 containers/day delivery.
With my hubby's nature of work, customers started having confidence in us.In a span of 3 months of operation, we were already having 50 containers average daily sales.
Since this is our first business venture, I decided to personally supervise our workers. There were instances where Regee and I personally visited a customer to attend to their needs.
After a year, here we are- surviving despite the declining economic condition of our country..
To all our customers, thank you for giving us your trust in providing your family with clean and safe drinking water.
To all our workers (we started with only 2 crews and 1 multicab, now we have 6 workers with an additional delivery vehicle), thank you for your passion and your dedication.
To our source of everything, the ALPHA AND OMEGA, the AUTHOR AND THE FINISHER OF OUR FAITH, all GLORY AND HONOR BELONGS TO YOU! Without you, this business will not be what it is right now!

My journey to a NEW ME
Until I've watched MY BIG LOVE. I suddenly thought of dieting but I just dont have the initial push to do it. Then my hubby thought of something that will surely motivate me to exercise and diet. With his constant encouragement and motivation, I agreed to shed off a few pounds. Besides, i have seen how he has slimmed down after 2 months of dieting and exercising. From his 192lbs weight last April 2008, he is now 173lbs. Thats 19 lbs off in 2 months!
So, for me,my target weight is 105 lbs in 2-3 months.I need to remove at least 20lbs in 2 months time!!!!
Last May 26,2008, I started a home video exercise (6 second abs total workout) which until now, i still do every morning for 30 minutes.I also do cardio exercise (stationary bike) for an hour before I go to bed at night. I cut down my rice intake and started having oats and cereals instead. I totally removed pork and beef on my food list and replaced them with chicken, fruits and vegetables instead. I made sure that I eat at least 5 times a day with three full meals and 2-3 snacks (1 banana or any fruit). Once a week, my hubby and I have this what we call " comfort day" wherein we can eat whatever we want.
After a month of dieting and exercising, I have already lost 8.5lbs, trimmed down my waist from 32 to 30. I feel great!
With a few more pounds to shed off, i believe that I can make it before my 28th birthday. I will be posting my photos after this. My friends also encouraged me to try this shake that will increase my chance of losing more weight.
So, this is it! Join me in my ultimate journey to a new ME!!!!

My sister's wedding
Last April 2008, my son and I went to Luzon to attend my sister's wedding. I only not attended the wedding but I helped my sister in the preparation. It was an overwhelming experience since it was my first time to be a wedding coordinator.
As early as last year, I have already asked my friends about the possible caterer, florist, venue, etc.I made all the "tawaran" - hehehe, ilokano ako eh:) until we met a good deal.
For the record, the wedding was held on April 18, 2008 at 3pm at ASIA PACIFIC THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, Baguio City. I personally chose the place because i found it cool and nice. My sister trusted me so much because she's in Canada during the preparation stage.
I also chose HONEY ON THE ROCK (by Laarni Andam), to cater my sis wedding. The resto offers organic foods and the price is affordable. My sister chose Filipino dishes as she was really craving for Filipino foods (she stayed in Canada for 8 years).
Our florist was Ptr. Wilson. The arrangement was so good that I was totally speechless when I saw it.Di ako nagsisi.hehehe
The musicians came from BACC, my home church in Baguio City. Well, i think i got the best ones!
Photographer & Videographer was GENESIS PHOTO. It was recommended by my friend AJ since the're also the ones who took their picture during their wedding last December.
So, here are the pictures! Take a good look and you'll surely agree with me that everyone had a great time that day!

Hof Gorei: A new place to go
When my sister and brother-in-law came to Davao for a vacation, I considered bringing them to Hof Gorei because of the reviews I read from my fellow bloggers and recommendations from my friends.Well, Thank God, I did!
I booked for an overnight stay there on May 9,2008. Upon arrival at the Sta Ana Wharf, we were escorted to a private boat owned by the resort. And mind you, kami lang sinundo :) The wharf was overflowing with water due to high tide (may bagyo noon). It took around an hour before we reached our destination.
At first, I was a bit dismayed by the beach line although I was already informed ahead of time about it.We were greeted by the staff of the resort with a welcome drink. We were given an assistant who ushered us to our room (see picture below). By the way, I took the hillside room (P2600.00 & P2800.00 respectively). The rooms are located at the pagoda like building situated just above the resort. The building has the restaurant and 4 rooms (2 hillside,1 ocean view & 1 junior suite).
Below us, one can take a good look at the resort.

After resting for a while, we decided to take a walk along the beach line. Since the resort is just a few meters away from Pearl Farm, we decided to take a look. The Pearl Farm was not as spectacular as I am expecting. It was just OK.
My hubby wanted to take a look at Malipano Island so we rented a boat for P200.00 each. We got 2 of them. On our way to the island and back to our resort, we were greeted by floating garbage. My hubby explained that the floating garbage was due to the typhoon.
Lunch time came and we decided to take their Buffet. We had beef stroganoff, Chicken barbeque, fish fillet, fresh garden salad, macaroni salad and fresh fruits- all for P350.00/plate plus 10% service charge.
After lunch,we took a dip at their pool. What caught my attention was their sinking bar. Although we never got a chance to try their wines and other concoctions, it was an eye-catching site.
Night came and it was time for dinner! We had the dinner at their kiosk (i forgot the name). Since we're still savoring our lunch in our tummies (sa sobrang kabusugan-hehehe), my hubby decided to just have pancit canton, chicken wings, pineapple crepe and a plate of their fruit cognac. I wanted to have the durian cognac but my sister opposed it. She cant take the taste of durian.hehehe. Their crepe was delicious and so was their fruit cognac.
The following day, I settled our bill before proceeding to our Island Hopping. I paid around P11,000.00+ for our 1 night stay (2 rooms, buffet lunch, dinner & island hopping with lunch).

Snorkeling at the Coral GardensFor sure, Hof Gorei Resort is a nice place to go. With its courteous & friendly staff , especially their Manager, Randy and the resort owner, Ms April Kroelle, you will surely miss a single day spent there! Oh, try to visit Ms. April's farm house on top of the resort- you'll never regret!
